Custom upcycled Houston Astros fitted for @curatethedope @slimwiththefittedbrim . The hat is a 2017 World Series hat that was purchased from the thrift store. The original orange and navy blue fabric was fully removed. Including the brim. It was replaced with a sourced hand-made floral Sashiko quilt fabric that was sampled for the top, and a sampled Chinese embroidered table runner. Closely and carefully cut to include the Koi Fishes.

Nique has made an impact in Houston Texas through curation, community, and music in the heart of 3rd Ward with the @pressplayersclub . Press Players is a record club that breaks down albums and verses while doing a deep dive on each song. Interpreting what the artist's mission , intention, writing style , and reason for creating the album.

Sashiko Stitching Denim Repair on a Rainey day. Can't risk plugging up the sewing machine when it rains. As much as we love using the machine, it's always good to go back to how it all started. You can heal with needles and thread. (Work In Progress)
